All--Happy Friday! Looking for some guidance on how all of your agencies handle required DOT Licensing for B or A licenses.  Do you require the DOT license when the employee enters the organization as part of the minimum qualifications?  Do you have a trainer that is certified to train on staff?  Does your City sponsor or pay for the DOT training?

We had a long term trainer who is a supervisor but no longer carries the certification.  This was never a requirement of his job, but just something he did to assist one division.  Just looking to see how all of you are handling this issue.  Thank you in advance for your assistance.
